Simple Google +1 plugin:

This Plugin lets you add the new Google +1 button to your site or blog.

Background:

Google has just released this new +1 button and you might have seen this on Mashable as they were one of the lucky Beta testers of Google +1. It works well with New Facebook Share Plugin and TweetMeMe button. All three plugins works great together.

What does it do?

This Plugin lets you add the new Google +1 button to your site or blog.

Download the latest Version from WordPress.org

Installation:

  1. Extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation.
  2. Then activate the Plugin from Plugins page.
  3. Done!

Usage:

Simply head to "Simple Google +1" under settings menu and configure the button for automatic insertion.
you can use as Shortcode:

[[gplusone]]

the shortcode can be configured with few parameters:

  • size: Size of the button , accepts tall,small,medium,standard.
  • count: Show count, accepts true,false
  • callback: use custom callback function, accepts callback function name

eg:

[[gplusone size="small" count="true" callback="my_callback"]]
